Mesaplexx designs and manufactures high performance microwave components and systems for the mobile communications market.

The future in our organization holds unlimited potential for people with imagination, energy and a strong desire to make things happen and our growth has created several new challenging positions that will provide support for our development and production activities.

We are currently seeking applicants with expertise in RF/microwave engineering within our product development group, to work on conceptually developed proof of concept designs to the stage of manufacture and production.

These full time positions will be located at our modern offices on the Brisbane Technology Park and would suit RF Engineer graduates with up to 7 years experience, or an equivalent combination of qualifications, education and training.

It is mandatory for applicants to demonstrate advanced RF design skills and attributes such as:-

• Experience in RF/microwave design such as planar circuits and filters, mechanical filters and possibly active circuits.
• Experience in using test equipment such as VNAs and spectrum analysers.
• A positive attitude, good dexterity and a keenness to learn new skills.
• The ability to work well within a team environment.
• Experience in software such as linear circuit simulators and 3D electromagnetic simulators would be an advantage.
• Experience in mobile communication technologies would also be an advantage.
• A Bachelor of Engineering degree with up to 7 years experience.
• Good communication skills – verbal and written English

As an energetic self-starter with the ability to work closely with a diverse multidisciplinary group of engineers, technicians and other specialists, ranging from early stage R&D to product manufacture, you will be working in a small team of experts and will require the personal qualities necessary to work in an organised and focused way with attention to detail, with minimal supervision and a willingness to take initiative.

The successful candidates will be outgoing, cheerful and self starters. These persons will need to demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply new ideas and adapt as the company grows.
